Scorpions are a German rock band formed in 1965. Since the band’s inception, their musical style has ranged from hard rock to heavy metal. The band’s only constant member is guitarist Rudolf Schenker, although Klaus Meine has been lead singer for all of their studio albums. They are known for their 1980s rock anthem “Rock You Like a Hurricane” and many singles, such as “No One Like You”, “Send Me an Angel”, “Still Loving You”, and “Wind of Change”. The band was ranked number 46 on VH1’s Greatest Artists of Hard Rock program. “Rock You Like a Hurricane” is also number 18 on VH1’s list of the 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs.

The band is one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time, with claims of sales over 100 million records worldwide.

In November 2009, Scorpions announced that their 17th studio album, Sting in the Tail, would be released in early 2010, recorded in Hanover with Swedish producers Mikael “Nord” Andersson and Martin Hansen. Sting in the Tail was released on March 23, 2010.

An album of re-recordings of older songs, Comeblack, was released on 7 November 2011.

Frontman Klaus Meine was asked in a July 2011 interview about the future of Scorpions and whether the band was going to make another album. He replied, “Our newest project comes out in the next few months. It gives you a chance to experience the Scorpions in 3D. You can actually feel the smoke string out of the guitar like it is a live show. It is an incredible experience. The DVD features our concerts in 3D in Germany. We are just about to do the mix and it should be in the Middle East and Saudi Arabia hopefully soon.

Almost a year in advance it was announced Scorpions would headline the Wacken Open Air Festival on 4 August.

In April Scorpions announced shows in Russia and Belarus with an orchestra in October 2013. On 11, 12, and 14 September 2013, the Scorpions played three MTV Unplugged concerts at the Lycabettus-Theatre in Athens. On November 6, 2013 they announce 4 more MTV Unplugged Concert in Germany 2014.

On August 16, Scorpions announced that there’s a new album in the works due for release sometime in 2015.

On October 23, 2014 Scorpions’ leader Klaus Meine spoke to the band’s French fan-club Crazyscorps, and announced that the new record would be published in February or march 2015; to coincide with the band 50th aniversary. Contrary to what the band said in 2013; the new record will present not only newly recorded versions of never-published songs, but also new material, written between 2011 and 2014. The album is being recorded in Sweden, with producers Martin Hansen and Mikael Nord Andersson. Drummer James Kottak, who left the band in may 2014 for rehab, will play drums on the new record.

Scooter are a German techno hard dance group founded in Hamburg, who have sold over 30 million records and earned over 80 gold and platinum awards. Scooter are considered the most successful German single-record act with 23 top ten hits. Although most of the group’s early recordings are in the rave & techno, Scooter have experimented with other dance music subgenres such as hardstyle and jumpstyle, and occasionally hip hop, and hard rock, and dubstep.

Scooter’s trademark sound features fast tempos and happy melodies, accompanied by frontman H.P. Baxxter rapping lyrics, sampling, and occasionally choruses involving artificially pitched voices. Among their more well-known hits are “Hyper Hyper”, “Move Your Ass!”, “How Much Is The Fish?”, “Ramp! (The Logical Song)”, “Nessaja”, “Weekend”, “Maria (I Like It Loud)” and “The Question Is What Is the Question?”.
On October 15, 2013, Scooter officially announced that their founding member Rick J. Jordan will be leaving the band at the end of the trio’s 20 Years Of Hardcore Tour 2014. According to the frontman of Scooter, H.P. Baxxter, in the years ahead, Phil Speiser (from Dirty Disco Youth or DDY) will replace Rick J. Jordan’s, who will provide his skills on the drums, synthesizers, piano as well as sound effects.

While The Fifth Chapter officially began for Scooter on May 23, 2014, when they released their recent single “Bigroom Blitz”, the Hamburg based trio’s new studio album, entitled The Fifth Chapter will be available on September 26, 2014, emphasizing a completely new era for the band. Scooter’s next single “Today” from The Fifth Chapter can also be obtained on September 26, 2014.

Scooter’s musical style has been defined as a fusion of Rave and Techno. Scooter has taken inspiration from such artists like The KLF, Marc Acardipane, Charly Lownoise and Mental Theo, and has more recently sampled melodies from hardstyle producers, such as Technoboy and Headhunterz. Frontman H.P. Baxxter performs his own vocals, which usually rhyme and occasionally involve puns, sayings, and idioms. Scooter vocals are usually shouted, and are usually meant to arouse a crowd. Crowd samples prevail in Scooter’s style, with songs like “Maria (I Like It Loud)”, “J’adore Hardcore”, and “Seven Bridges” featuring full crowd refrains. Most of the music produced by Scooter is above 135 BPM, though there are also occasional slow tracks. Many of the slower tracks, such as “Second Skin” (The Chameleons cover), draw inspiration from new wave music. This leans toward H.P. Baxxter and Rick J. Jordan’s roots as new wave musicians before Scooter began.

SASH! is a German DJ/production team, fronted by Sascha Lappessen, who works in the recording studio with Ralf Kappmeier and Thomas “Alisson” Lüdke. They have sold over 22 million albums worldwide, and earned more than 65 Gold and Platinum awards. In the UK, uniquely their first four hit singles incorporated vocals in different languages (French, Spanish, English and Italian).

With Sabine Ohmes as the singer, SASH! released “Encore Une Fois”. Described on SASH!’s biography as “the big break”, it reached number 2 in the UK Singles Chart, as well as reaching the top 10 of five countries’ singles charts and the top 20 of seven countries’ singles charts.
In the same year, SASH! produced “Ecuador”, and “Stay”, which both also reached #2 in the UK Singles Chart. In 1998, SASH! released the first single from his second album, “La Primavera”, which reached #3 in the UK, “Mysterious Times”, which reached #2, and “Move Mania”, which reached #8. The following year, “Colour the World” reached #15.

In 1998, the group’s second album, Life Goes On, was released and contained the singles “La Primavera” and their fourth UK #2 Mysterious Times.

Sash! has spent the first quarter of 2013 touring around Europe playing Live DJ gigs as is his norm. Sash! has made appearances in Denmark, Estonia, Finland, England, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Cyprus, and many other European countries so far this year.

On May 9 a new video and single was released via YouTube called “The Secret” featuring the vocals of Sarah Brightman. Again, the video was a lyric video but was a new mix than the album version making it the fourth version to be released. The Secret has been a fan favorite for years, which explains why he has made so many versions.

On May 23, Sash! announced via YouTube that he has again gone back into the studio to record with Jessy. No information has been given yet as to his plans to make a remix, single or produce a new album. In August 2013, versions of his new single featuring Jessy titled “All Is Love” surfaced on the internet.

On October 4, Sash! announced his new single “Summer’s Gone” feat. Tony T. via YouTube, he also announced a new forthcoming Life Changes.
