LIVIN’ JOY

TAMEKO STAR- International recording artist, songwriter, dancer, choreographer, actress, and playwright—Hails from Atlanta, GA by way of Vicenza, Italy.

She rose to local fame when she was just a teen, writing her first R&B/ Pop hit song entitled, “Going In Circles” that is still considered an Italian classic today.

As a military brat, star studied and excelled in all areas of the performing arts eventually joining a local band to hone her performance skills.
This led to a successful international recording career under MCA/Universal Records. Under the stage name, Livin’ Joy, Star released an
album that spawned four Top 10 hits—including the inspirational life anthem, “Don’t Stop Movin”.

She also wrote and performed “Follow the Rules”, “Where Can I Find Love”, and “Deep In You” which enabled her to tour all over the world with some of the music industry’s finest. After relocating to America, Star began fulfilling her lifelong dream of helping others succeed in the entertainment industry.
Soon after, she opened her own talent development and
production company, Star House Entertainers–a boutique, multi-service company that offers vocal, dance, acting, and performance training, as well as, artist development and theatre/concert production. Currently, she has written and produced a hit musical production entitled, “Superstar Dreamz: LIVE, a story about overcoming obstacles and fulfilling your dreams.

The musical has been dubbed, Atlanta’s New Crush and has been endorsed by celebrities and industry execs alike. Star has also written the musical’s soundtrack and plans to tour the production globally, after fulfilling her dreams of Broadway.

This year, the international Pop/Dance Diva plans to return to her roots auditioning top producers for a new single. She plans to independently release her own EP this year in her own name, “Tameko Star”

LAYZEE A.K.A. MR. PRESIDENT

LAYZEE A.K.A. MR. PRESIDENT

Front man of the pop group Mr. President LayZee came to Germany from Birmingham, England in the late 80s with his brother. There they met the now top hit producer and remixer Mousse.T and founded their very first group Fresh and Fly. After a while LayZee took of to work at the clubs and discos of Hannover and the north German area as a DeeJay. Due to a lot of hard work and perseverance he managed to take the North German Deejay Championships held in Bremen. Only after two years of becoming a DeeJay. Mixing, Rapping and Scratching all at the same time to mesmerize the crowd and give him the title. This were LayZee’s first real steps into the world of music.

Later while rapping his way through various studios, clubs and projects, he received a call from the Mr. President management, asking him for his help with their project. Within a very short time he has become a member of the band. They where signed to Warner Music and the rest is history. With hits such as ‘Up’ n Away’ and ‘Coco Jamboo’ they managed to storm both domestic and international charts. Releasing 5 albums and over 15 singles, Layzee had done well. Receiving platinum and gold awards left right and centre. Winning some of Europe’s top music prizes. Plus being two time Echo Award winners for Best Dance Single and the following year for best Export. As well as media prizes such as the Viva Award and two times winners of the radio RSH Gold, for best song and best live act. Plus recently being awarded a BMI for over 2 million radio plays in the US for ‘Coco Jamboo’. Touring the world from America to Japan and back.

LA BOUCHE

The language of music transcends political, religious and cultural boundaries. It is with this spirit that Lane McCray burst onto the international music scene in the mid and late 1990s with the late diva Melanie Thornton. Having met in Frankfurt, Germany by a chance encounter, this powerhouse duo became known as La Bouche (French for “the mouth”) and conquered the dance music scene with landmark success, producing chart toping singles, peaking at number one in seven countries.

The successful dynamic duo conquered the charts of the 1990s. With more than 10-million records sold under BMG and the meticulously watchful eye of legendary music mogul Frank Farian, La Bouche earned numerous awards, including the German Grammy, the Echo, for Dance Song of the Year in 1995.

In 2001, Melanie Thornton passed away in a plane crash while promoting her solo career. La Bouche continues to perform for their wonderful fans around the globe. Lane McCray has released his solo album in 2011.
